Where vintrace and Vinsight are stronger

  • vintrace

Founded in Australia and used across 19 countries, with a native app on the App Store and Google Play for intake, barcoded tanks, work orders and lab entries. It names QuickBooks, Xero, ETS Laboratories, TankNet and BarrelWise among its integrations, and connects staff, growers and contract winemaking clients. GrapeFlow has no native app, no accounting integration and no contract winemaking.

  • Vinsight

Covers the business side GrapeFlow doesn’t: sales with price books and picking slips, stock costing and COGS reporting, WET and excise listed under Regulatory, Xero, Shopify, WooCommerce, Commerce7 and Lightspeed, and 3PL partners such as WineWorks and CartonCloud. It also serves cider makers, distilleries and breweries.

Why a grower-maker picks GrapeFlow instead

  • You know the price before a demo

99 USD/month or 990 USD/year for the whole winery, every module included, no per-user fees, and a 90-day free trial with no credit card.

  • The vineyard comes with the cellar

Blocks, phenology, maturity samples and the spray diary are in the same plan, and the withholding period is checked again when the fruit arrives at the winery.

  • Spray when the risk is there

Downy and powdery mildew risk for every block, worked out from modelled weather at the block’s location — a decision aid, not a spray recommendation.

  • Block to bottle, and back

Every bottled lot traces back to its blocks, with a PDF recall report and a public QR page per bottled lot.

Frequently asked questions

Is GrapeFlow cheaper than vintrace or Vinsight?

We don’t compare figures here. vintrace doesn’t publish a price; Vinsight publishes its plans on its own site, so check them there for your size. GrapeFlow costs 99 USD/month or 990 USD/year, plus applicable taxes, with every module included and no per-user fees.

Can I move from vintrace or Vinsight to GrapeFlow?

Blocks, tanks, harvest receptions and finished products can be imported from CSV. Lot histories aren’t imported: you start GrapeFlow with your current wine as opening balances and carry on from there.

Does GrapeFlow handle WET or lodge anything with Wine Australia?

No. GrapeFlow keeps the vineyard and cellar records your reporting is built from, but it doesn’t calculate WET, lodge anything with the ATO, Wine Australia or Sustainable Winegrowing Australia, or issue export or transport documents. Vinsight lists WET and excise on its site.

Does GrapeFlow integrate with Xero or Shopify?

Not today. GrapeFlow has a read-only REST API, but no accounting, sales or e-commerce integration. vintrace names QuickBooks and Xero; Vinsight names Xero, Shopify, WooCommerce and Commerce7.

Do I have to book a demo to try GrapeFlow?

No. Sign up, start a 90-day free trial without a credit card, and use the whole app with your own blocks and tanks.

How much does GrapeFlow cost?

99 USD/month, or 990 USD/year (two months free), plus applicable taxes. One price per winery with every module included and no per-user fees. The trial runs for 90 days and doesn’t need a credit card.
