Diesel burned in vineyard and cellar operations is the main source of direct emissions (Scope 1). Every tractor pass — tillage, spraying, mowing — adds fuel and emissions.
Cutting passes, optimising operations and adopting more efficient or electric equipment reduces these emissions. Logging litres per hectare and per operation is the basis for cutting them.

Does electrification only help with renewable energy?
